A lot of people aren’t big fans of The Game but I have loved all three “major label” studio albums so far. Many think that he name drops too often but bottom line is that Game (like Fiddy before him) knows how to pen a hit. Here is the Kanye West produced “Dreams” off his album “The Documentary”.

Ice Cube – Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It (2008)
Any track that can have your 6 year old son singing “This is hip hop baby/I’m finna take you to the tip top baby” has gotta make his father proud. So here it is… (BTW “finna” = “going to”)
Common ft Pharrell – Announcement (2008)
The award for geekiest looking lyrical beast goes to Braille but don’t let that put you off. He gets the beast award for good reason. Throw him on a Marco Polo beat and you have aural perfection.
Braille – The IV (2008)
Great track off one of 2007’s best albums (“The Weatherman”) and IMO nicely pays homage to Ice Cube’s “It Was A Good Day”…
Evidence – Chase The Clouds Away (2007)

Funny ass video that wifey found…

Written in 2001 by British author Ian McEwan and shortlisted for the Booker Prize (McEwan won the 1998 Booker Prize for Amsterdam).
In late 2006, Lucilla Andrews’ autobiography No Time for Romance became the focus of a posthumous controversy when it was alleged that McEwan plagiarized from this work while writing Atonement. McEwan professed his innocence and several high profile authors leapt to his defence, including the reclusive Thomas Pynchon (Gravity’s Rainbow).
I liked Atonement and would give it 4 stars. I would also like to mention the unexpected C-bombs that get dropped…
